I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with a PhD in Educational Psychology, offering psychotherapy for adults and couples alongside parent support relating to emotional and educational difficulties affecting children and family life.

I have over a decade of experience working therapeutically with individuals from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.

Therapy offers a reflective and confidential space to explore emotional difficulties, relationship patterns, anxiety, loss, identity, and aspects of experience that may feel painful, confusing, or difficult to put into words.

How I Work

Individual Psychotherapy
Couples Therapy

Therapy for couples experiencing difficulties in communication, emotional distance, conflict, or repeated relational patterns

A reflective space to explore anxiety, emotional difficulties, relationship patterns, identity, loss, and recurring internal conflicts

Parent & Educational Support

Support for parents concerned about emotional, behavioural, relational, or school-related difficulties affecting their children and family life

When Therapy May Feel Helpful

At times, emotional difficulties, relationship patterns, anxiety, loss, or periods of transition may begin to feel overwhelming, repetitive, or difficult to make sense of alone.

Some people come to therapy with a clear concern, while others may experience a more general sense of feeling emotionally stuck, disconnected, or uncertain.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy explores the deeper and often unconscious emotional patterns that may shape present difficulties, relationships, and ways of coping. Through a reflective and insight-oriented approach, therapy can offer space to think more freely about emotional experience, recurring relational patterns, and aspects of oneself that may previously have felt difficult to understand or put into words.

Therapeutic work develops through a thoughtful and trusting relationship built on confidentiality, emotional attention, and careful listening. I offer a free 15-minute introductory conversation for those wishing to explore whether psychotherapy may feel helpful at this time.

What to Expect

I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone conversation before arranging a first session. This provides an opportunity to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and consider whether working together feels like the right fit.

Sessions are 50 minutes and are available both in person in Maida Vale and online across the UK.

I offer both short-term and open-ended psychotherapy, depending on each person’s needs.

Languages

Therapy is available in both English and Persian (Farsi).
